David Gough is the GAA Education and Development Officer in DCU. He is a GAA referee and made history in 2019 becoming the first openly gay GAA match official to referee the men’s senior All-Ireland football final. David, a teacher himself from County Meath, began refereeing in 2007 and has regularly refereed at intercounty level since 2011.
